Waterloo Bar and Kitchen

Hi Guys,
How many of you use Groupon? Let me tell you, if you don't, you should!!
Last week I've picked a deal which turn out to be an absolute winner: a 3 courses dinner for two at Waterloo Bar and Kitchen in London for just £ 33.00!

Waterloo Bar and Kitchen is a nice old fashioned restaurant just a couple of minutes from Waterloo Station, next door to the Old Vic Theatre, so it's very handy for pre and after theatre meals. I went there on Saturday night with my husband and we were welcomed by the staff which was really kind and attentive without being too pushy.
The deal was comprehensive of starter, main, dessert and a bottle of wine so I had Scottish Smoked Salmon with buttered Whole Bread, whilst my husband had King Prawns Sautéed with Shallots and Garlic. Mine was really good, but his was just glorious!
As main we both had 28 Days Aged Char Grilled Rib-Eye Steak with chips which was absolutely spot on.
Don't let be put off by the dated layout of this restaurant, the food is fantastic and so is the service. We were also glancing over other tables and the food that came out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and the comment from the other guests were also very good.
We will certainly go back because I want to try other dishes, included their Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Apple Compote and Mild Mustard which looked absolutely amazing. It would be for the next time.
I was very happy with this deal and I'll keep looking for more on Groupon, that's for sure!
